Serving Nonprofits since 1997

Dan Beirute is an attorney with a passion to help nonprofits “get legal and stay legal”. Since 1997, Dan’s legal practice has focused on forming and advising churches, itinerate ministries, overseas missions organizations, and Christian schools and charities across the United States. Through his nearly 30 years of experience working with 1000s of nonprofits, Dan has developed a broad range of expertise, including IRS compliance, nonprofit governance, and employment law for religious orgs.

Dan is a 1996 graduate of Harvard Law School and a current member of the Board of Directors of Evangelical Counsel for Financial Accountability (ECFA).  For over ten years, he served as an adjunct at Oral Roberts University’s Graduate School of Business where he wrote and taught its course on Legal Issues for Nonprofit Organizations.  He also assisted in drafting Oklahoma’s Charitable Solicitations Act.

Dan was born in San José, Costa Rica and holds dual U.S. and Costa Rican citizenship. He resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with his wife of 32 years and four children.

Meet the Team

A church attorney with short brown hair and a beard, smiling, wearing a blue suit and white shirt, standing indoors near a window with trees outside.

  • Attorney

Mason Beasler is passionate about serving churches, ministries, and nonprofit organizations with integrity and insight. He graduated with honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law in May 2024 and received the Oklahoma Bar Association Litigation Award, along with the CALI Award for excellence in Trial Practice. Though he earned accolades for his courtroom skills, Mason’s heart is in equipping mission-driven organizations to thrive within a complex legal landscape.

Before entering law, Mason studied journalism at Oral Roberts University and worked as a writer for the American Family Association, where he covered issues impacting faith-based communities across the country. That experience deepened his understanding of the unique challenges these organizations face and helped shape his commitment to supporting their causes through legal counsel.

Outside of his practice, Mason enjoys reading John Grisham novels, listening to Supreme Court oral arguments, and playing pickleball with his wife Natalie.
